DISCLAIMER: THIS ARTICLE WAS ORIGINALLY UPLOADED ON JANUARY 2016. THIS IS A REUPLOAD OF THE SAME ARTICLE FROM THE PREVIOUS WEBSITE OF THIS WEBSITE. Anesthesia today is safer than ever. But try telling that to a nervous parent of a 5-year-old about to have surgery, or to a patient in his 70s in poor health. Talking to your surgeon and anesthesiologist before surgery is an important step in making sure your experience is as safe and comfortable as possible — regardless of your age.  But for children and older adults, that conversation is especially important. Dr. Daniel J. Cole, president of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, has tips for patients of all ages . “Most people don’t know that before their surgery they can and should talk with their anesthesiologist about their concerns and about their health and health habits,” Dr. Cole says.  “This is especially true for parents of young children who may be worried about how anesthesia could affect the child, and for older...

Chase Your Dreams

‘Dream’ is such a complicated term to define. In fact, no one can define dream. The only way to understand the term 'dream' is to experience it as it has the power to take you to extremes whether they are fulfilled or not.

There must be lots of dreams for every person in this world, be it a silly one or a passionate one, when he/she was a kid or an adolescent. Most of those dreams are visualized flawlessly without any restrictions or boundaries, which may result in a hopeless situation of that person or may place him in a highly successful position. No matter what, one can’t stop dreaming.

To achieve what you see in your dream, the first and foremost thing you need to have is FOCUS. With constant focus and hard work, there is no possibility that your dream vanishes away. But one should be sincere in their efforts.

Initially, there will be a few challenges, but don't hesitate to confront them. Try to avoid the cowardly feeling called fear in your mind while you are passionate. And also try to be deaf and MOTIVATED.

You should be deaf to what others say about YOUR LIFE. It’s better if you take them as suggestions and at the end of the day, the decision maker should be you yourself to avoid regrets.

Most of us are confused between the concept of listening to what the heart says and what the brain says. Let me be clear that there are no such separate departments like the heart and the brain in your body in terms of decision making. Every intention related to you is from your brain. The functionality of heart is completely different, it doesn’t have the power to think. It has been scientifically proven that only the BRAIN has the power of thinking and making decisions. So, don’t encourage the dilemma as to which part of your body should you listen to.

Each of us has a unique gift or talent. It may be small or it may be big, the key is to discover what it is and bring it to the world. There is no one to stop you. Just tune your mind to focus on what you desire and what you dream.

If you are passionate enough, then make use of the excellent quality called the POWER OF THINKING which your brain has. Identify the pros and cons that you might face in achieving what you desire and sort them out.

You may take suggestions from a person who has richer knowledge than you. Just focus on what you want and what your brain says. The success would come fetching to you one day.

You should also develop a 'never give up' attitude while chasing your dreams, because a situation will definitely arrive to test your patience where in most of the cases, it results in leaving your thoughts apart.

Chasing your thoughts or dreams will develop courage and keeping a hold on that courage will fetch you TREMENDOUS SUCCESS IN LIFE.
